Ripe plum, blueberry, fresh herbs, mahogany, and spice welcome you from the first sip. As the wine opens, layers of violet, blueberry, coffee bean, and graphite emerge, adding depth and complexity to the palate. The journey concludes with lingering notes of blueberry and fresh herbs, creating a balanced and memorable finish that stays with you long after the glass is empty.
The Arroyo Road Estate Vineyard was planted in 2012, with its first harvest in 2015, and is carefully farmed to produce exceptional Petit Verdot. The vines are pruned to a single cane per spur to promote uniform sun exposure and limit yields, resulting in concentrated flavors and balanced fruit. The vineyard's red clay soils contribute depth and structure, while irrigation is applied only as needed to maintain vine health and fruit quality throughout the growing season.
